Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.
Hours are published for 7 days a week. Typical hours are Open 24 hours. Lakewood is in Colorado, in the Mountain West, where the high elevation brings cold snowy winters, warm dry summers and big day-to-night temperature swings; ski and summer tourist seasons shape opening hours in resort towns. Getting around Lakewood is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Colorado's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

If I could give a negative star rating it would be -1000.... In the past year of me living nearby this place has became absolute trash! 7/10 the trash cans r full, and there wasn't a dumpster 2 even attempt emptying them into, the washing bays barely function let alone do its intended job !! And the are always broken and taking my quarters. There isn't even 1 phone number posted 2 even attempt reaching out 2 management about the countless amounts of money these machines have stolen from me! And to top it all off the owner "warns" that "local businesses are watching" and encourage people to call Lakewood non emergency but refuse to post their own # to actually respond to real solvable issues... Hire a property manager to handle the property if u can't or sell the property to someone who can! This type of "business" practices is called scamming! And flat outright theft!!

Do not go here, they take your money, but the car wash doesn’t actually work. No pressure on any of the washing settings, foaming brush doesn’t work at all. Stay away from this place. I would give it zero stars if I could.

I’ve been going to this car wash on and off for 3 years and the functionality and upkeep has continued to go down hill. “High pressure wash” is such a lie. I paid and was about to start washing when both nozzles for the bug and regular wash were broken off, see images. I was forced to pay $2 because of the minimum so then I switched stations and there was only 2 stations/stalls that had 1 functioning nozzle and when I went to use it, it wasn’t even high pressure!!! I was trying to get the bugs off the front of my car and it couldn’t even do that. Spent another $8 trying to get them off. What a waste of time and money. I ended up going to jimmy suds next door. don’t think it should be customary to have to check the nozzles in the stall before paying to ensure they work.

DO NOT GO HERE. Worst self serve carwash i have used in the denver metro. Bays 3&4 had burst hoses, so i paid $2 to start and immediately end the first 2. I can’t believe there isn’t an auto cancel/refund if you stop in less than 30 seconds. The final bay i used that didn’t leak, half the products weren’t working. Totally neglected

This car wash has always treated me well. Take work van there and always comes out looking great and at a fraction of the cost a roll through would be. Place seems to be kept up well and the lady who runs the wash has some exceptional customer service. Personally highly recommend.
